Our Friday NIGHT at the beach!

It was a beautiful day on Friday, around 78 degrees (our cold front), so Heidi and I decided to take an afternoon trip to the beach with our families. Daylight savings kind of slipped our minds and we didn't leave until 4:30. By 6:00 it was sooo dark. But we had the chance to catch an awesome sunset and the water was still so warm! The kids had a ball playing on the lifeguard tower and in the water. We came home and were anxious to put the kids down early but Wizard of Oz had just started and Austin was hypnotized by it. It's so fun to see your kid watch a classic for the first time. John's more of a softy than I am and let him watch the whole thing and by the time it was over Austin was very "schleepy" as he would put it!

Sorry Heidi, had to post this one. They're not accountable until they're eight right?

Our little lifeguards!

"Haven't I done this before?"

That is the funniest picture of Austin and McKenna! They crack me up! Okay, that picture of you and Brock is so awesome! We had such a great time, thanks for coming to my beach with us! :)

Wow, those pictures are gorgeous! It must have been a beautiful day...some days I wish we lived near a beach, instead of a dust bowl!

How fun, the sunset behind you is to die for! I love the picture of Brock standing up...Lance used to do that with ours, and it used to freak me out, but now it's like "what ever"! Love it, it's so beautiful there!
