The Floridian

John was lucky enough to fly up to his owner's private golf course today in a helicopter and spend the day with friends and fellow teammates playing golf at the Floridian all while being catered to by Mr. Huizenga's personal staff. I was lucky enough today to stay home and clean up the aftermath of Austin's "spitting" episodes. I'm honestly not bitter...I just like to tease him about it.

On the way home they flew over Tiger Wood's beach front estate estimated at 25 million dollars. If you look close you can see his private putting green in the backyard.

On my way home from the grocery store I saw some residue from Austin's stomach flu in the car and if you look close...just kidding no pictures. I'm not that cruel.

LIFe must be so HARD for John!
Now you need to go have a day at the spa and leave John home for the day.... He is just a great guy I am sure he would do that!! Life as a mom is great isn't it???

you totally make me laugh - I for sure know how it is to be cleaning up throw up while ryan is gone! you're probably better than I am but I start gagging when I get anywhere near the smell so it's quite the ordeal to get everything all cleaned up! hope austin is feeling better!

Aren't we the lucky ones! That sounds really rough for John! JK That view is gorgeous though!

Don't you wish mom's had an off season every once in a while to play golf...Did I say golf, I meant shop(with no kids of course). Even if it only lasted a day or two. That would be nice.

Love you guys. Seriously love it!

We just did all this, I so sympathize! Lance just had the stomach flu, then Rylie got it, and is now getting over it, and now Lance has a cough and sore throat...it's so sad, and so tiring for the moms! How cool for John though, Lance would've been in heaven going on a chopper ride (both of them) Hang in there Christy!

Ugh, nothing is worse than having a kid with the flu! Oh wait, having a husband out having fun in a helicopter while you are dealing with the flu...that is worse. Just kidding! Yeah for your hubby, that looks really cool! I agree with the spa day, its only fair right?

How fun for John. The pictures are great. I am glad little cute Austin is better! I am really just reiterating everything everyone else is saying. I really need to be one of the first one to comment to even sound the least bit original...

Oh man Tyson would die to golf like that...we have a backyard it is just small and we have a pool with no gate around it...so there is no going in the backyard pretty much EVER...I would rip that pool out in an instant if I could.

So will you get your chance for a helicopter ride? Tell John that would be a nice romantic date...I love your blog, it is a highlight in my day. You and Laura are so good about posting, I need to get it together and organize my pics..it's all or nothing sometimes! Rub John's face for me! :)

You crack me up- I read this out loud to Toby cause I'm always saying the same thing. "Oh you went to lunch at Tucano's today? That's so great!...we had pb and j's." But we wouldn't trade it for anything. Right?:)

How fun...for John...

You crack me up! We want to come back to FL soon, we loved it there last spring. We drove to Star Island (is that what its called?) and saw the huge estates, they are CrAzY!!!

Cara's comment made me laugh too...

Why is it that the men are always playing while we are cleaning up puke?! That looks like so much fun! What a fun day for him, not so much for you. I hope that Austin feels better soon, so sad! I love the 18 post, so funny!

rough life for the hubby! what a fun experience but it is hard to be fully happy when you are in the trenches(i like to say that when kids are sick) at home.
i too loved your 18 post-i think most of us have been there!

You so have the life! I am totally jealous of all the fun you guys have! It puts our (paid for by parents) trip to Hawaii to shame :) Jeff is looking at schools in Florida (did I already tell you that) anyway, it would so much fun to have some friends maybe close by! Oh the bathing suit I got online at Macy's. It is a hard time to find cute suits in Colorado, so I was way excited. My advice-go up a size!!!
