Garth Brooks Teammates For Kids

If you asked me if I could see any artist in concert hands down I would choose Garth Brooks so when we had the opportunity to be part of his charity I was all for it. Not only does 100% of the money raised go to charity, Garth Brooks guarantees to at least triple the money donated.

After the silent auction Garth had a poolside party for all the players involved. The party was pretty small but it still felt a little like an episode of the Bachelor... everyone was trying to get their "one on one" time with Garth. Lucky for us Aubrie was more assertive so we were able to talk to him for a little bit. Garth and Trisha were so down to earth and incredibly grounded. Completely genuine.

John's brother Ryan and his wife Laura came to the event too. All week people didn't believe that John and Ryan were brothers.

Donnie, Aubrie, Laura, Ryan, John, and I at the silent auction.
It was great to see our friends Aubrie and Donnie Jones. They used to live in Miami and now are in St. Louis. We miss them so much!
They put us up at Caesar's Palace. I seriously didn't want to leave. Tons of shopping and good food.
The last night there was a dinner, live auction, and then Garth performed. He is a born entertainer. His music brings back so many memories. I found myself getting choked up a lot during his songs.

Who didn't believe John and Ryan are brothers? I know they look a little different, BUT COME ON!!!!! Can't they see the resemblance?

Thank you for your nice words as well. I LOVE making new friends via the "blogging world!" I am glad to see you are keeping yourself busy. I must admit that I am a bit jealous of your Garth experience. He is a stud!!! Isn't Caesars the best in the Summer? The pool is AMAZING!!!

what a fun couple days! I love teammates...it's like a party all for a good cause! it was great to see you guys - we'll have to go again next year. I think it will be in nashville and just the players (no sponsors) and I've heard being in TN is really personal and everyone loves it! sorry I didn't get to say goodbye...the rx helps a lot but sometimes it's not perfect! hope you're having fun in arizona....it's just crazy that camp starts this week!! I dont think I'm ready for the season quite yet.
