It all starts when they are born...forever lugged around in their car seat to all of the older sibling's activities. Hand-me-down clothes, less pictures taken, and oh they aren't crawling until 15 months...no biggie. That just means more time that they aren't mobile enough to make messes. I think I enjoyed Brocky more just because I wasn't so worried if I was doing everything right. I knew it would be okay.
When Brock's little buddy Ty signed up for soccer and wanted Brock to do it I thought what a great opportunity for some Brock time. Poor little Brocky never gets to do anything all by himself, just for him. At the first class he immediately sat on the sideline and I had to tell him, "No, this is for you. Go ahead!"
Look at how happy he is doing jumping jacks for warm up.
Ty and Brock both carrying their ball to the goal. They have come a long way since then.

HAHHAHAHA. I can sympathize with the 2nd child, only my hand-me-downs were all boy's clothing that were 3 sizes too big!
I love how he sat on the side line and you had to tell him it was actually for him! What a cutie!

I know how it is! Gavin's car seat feels about 50LBS with him in it. Hey, at least you will get buff arms with your new little one soon. I don't even bother lifting weights anymore.

We won't dwell on the 'youngest child syndrome' that you and I suffered from. The scars are still fresh! Ha ha

Ok, that is the cutest thing ever! That is so awesome of you to get him into soccer. Ashlyn would love something like that. And those pictures of your boys on Easter are priceless. I love those colors on your boys!

That is kinda sad that Brock didn't think he was supposed to play... not really, I think it is just the Second Child coming out in me. Here's to all the second children out there who need a little attention. He is so cute!
