Shark Valley

For a fun family outing we headed to Shark Valley which is about 35 minutes from our house. First of all, there's nothing "shark" about Shark Valley. Nothing. It's a natural reserve that has a 15 mile bike loop that literally has alligators in the middle of the bike trail. The alligators see so many people that they are almost docile. Unless you look like a small animal which is why I kept Brock on a short leash. Unfortunately when we got there Austin was over the weight limit for the bikes that had child seats in them so we couldn't do the loop. I was bummed.

The guides there reassured us that everything we would see we could see in the first 1/2 mile so you can also walk the bike trail which is what we did. We saw probably 15 alligators, 6 which were in the middle of the path and we could have rode like horses. Although it was cool to see so many alligators up close and personal, it was a little anti-climatic after having one in our backyard at home.

Ahhhhhh!
This was as close as the boys would get without us with them.
AND...in case you are sick of alligator pictures here is a picture of my "egg". I admit it...this was a carefully chosen picture. I'm not brave enough to show you the sideways shot yet. Although I do guarantee it would exude an audible gasp. I am short and carrying the child of gigantic man so there is nowhere for the baby to go but straight out. I do love being pregnant but sometimes I have a hard time with my body changing so extremely. If I ever complain about my odd shape John just smiles and says, "Thanks babe. Thanks for doing it for us and our babies."
It's hard to complain after that.

WHATEVER. You look freaking FANTASTIC. Besides, NOTHING can out-do the side shot of you pregnant with Brock. NOTHING. LOL.

I love the family shot. I'm still giddy at the thought you will soon have THREE BOYS!!! I can't wait!
