John and I worked together at Outback while we were in college. So did my sister-in-law Kim and my brother-in-law Brett. My nephew Porter was even there for a while. Outback was our little home away from home. Even now in Florida when we're missing home we go to Outback. It probably is due mostly to this guy, Jeff.
He was our boss there and is an awesome guy who has been so good to us over the years. So when he was going to be in town for an Outback convention we took up the chance to meet up with him down in Miami Beach at the FountaineBleau hotel (aka "the Land of the Beautiful People"). John played in the Outback volleyball tournament and they did pretty well with the big guy in front.

I've been in Florida 5 years and I still can't get over how gorgeous it is. Although South Beach is known for eye candy I couldn't believe how many beautiful people were at the Fountainebleau. Seriously everyone looked like models or celebrities. My kids were the only kids at the beach and the pool which made me a little uneasy. I kept looking around for signs that said "NO KIDS - ADULTS ONLY".
We didn't stay that long at the pool but I did spot Kelly from the Real Housewives of New York City. Yes, I watch that show and I am only kind of embarassed to admit it. And she's ripped, FYI.
So thanks Jeff for a great day at the beach!

Christy and John,
It was so good to see the two of you and the boys. You have an awesome family. You and the whole Denney clan will always have a special place in my heart. Speaking of beautiful people, right after you left, Paris Hilton strolled by in the lobby of the hotel. I told her you said, "Hi". Stay in touch. Jeff
She did not! Did she really?
how fun! we have stayed away from south beach for all the naked reasons... but before we leave here i think we might just have to make it down there just so we can say we did! haha
how fun! Don't worry I watch that show too. guilty pleasures! :)
I haven't seen that show either but after you pointing out Kelly to me I may start. Yes Paris did walk by, big sunglasses and all. How ironic, two days ago I was strolling the beach of South Miami, today I am getting ready to go to work in a snowstorm. The realities that life brings upon us. The pages are always turning.
Jeff
You and I could totally watch TV all day and get along just fine. I love all those shows too! You belong there with all those beautiful people!
Thats hilarious. We all have our embarrassing shows!
Honestly, I wonder if people after living around such beautiful beaches ever get used to the beauty...you just confirmed that you don't. It really is so GORGEOUS there and makes me want to live elsewhere. Wait, i've wanted to live elsewhere for quite sometime now.
We love Outback- let's go next time you're in town ;)
BEAUTIFUL BEACH! The water is so blue and clear. I love the white sand too. THat sounds so fun. We went to Outback a couple weeks ago in NYC and I was bummed they didn't have my steak kabob that I LOVED! But the food was good and the bread was amazing. We just got home from Moab, bryan and cecilie went too, and we all missed you and John.
I can't get over how beautiful it is there either. I would want to live there too. BTW, I love the song "More Bounce in California". I think it was my theme song for a solid year after "Win a Date With Tad Hamilton" came out. Love ya.
