Animal Kingdom was our last day at Disney World. It was brutally hot and the park was really hard to navigate because of the overhanging foliage obstructing our view of the huge tree that is the landmark to tell you where you are. This was probably our kid's least favorite park. They aren't too excited to see animals. When you have alligators in your backyard you aren't easily impressed. The highlight of the day was definitely riding Return to Everest (kind of like the Matterhorn at Disneyland) 6 times in a row because the park was empty.
Poor Brocky wanted so badly to be tall enough.
Different sections of the park have names of continents like Asia or Africa. Here's John sweating "Africa" while in Africa. Tip: Don't wear grey when you know you are going to sweat a lot!
The Huge tree which I'm sure has a name but I have no idea what it is. There was probably sweat in my eye when I was looking at the map.

It is hard to impress children when you have crazy wildlife literally right in your backyard, or like a certain disgusting reptile on your front porch when you unsuspectingly open the front door. It still is cool that you went, just to say you have been there at least. So when your kids tell you that you never do anything fun you can kindly point out the blistering, sweaty heat you put up with so they could have fun at Disney!
By the way, that picture of John and Austin is priceless!
What awesome parents you are! At least the kids had fun, right?! I don't envy that heat though...I know it's coming! Can you believe our babies are almost 1?
Looks like hot sweaty fun!!!
I know how miserable it is when it's so hot. The worst part is smelling the sweaty people around you when you're waiting in line!
