The Hotel

Thursday we went to John's practice in the morning and then hung out at the pool until John's charity event in the afternoon. The hotel was really nice and had sharks swimming in the pools alongside the walkways. It surprised me how many of the players and their families never left the hotel. This was the only day we stayed there most of the day. Almost everyday I would run along the beach in the morning and mutter to myself how gorgeous Hawaii is. On this day John and I ran along the beach to where the Black Pearl from Pirates of the Caribbean was docked but we didn't have our camera.

That night we went out to Roy's with some of Sheri and Craig's old friends and their kids. One of their daughter-in-laws, Joy, won the World Cup in surfing so we were picking her brain on surfing. The only pic I got of the night was this one.
