Marco Island - The Suite Life

 We got home from Denver Tuesday and Wednesday we headed to Marco Island for an NFPA event for a week. John is one of the reps for the team and every year they have a week of meetings and fun. Marco Island is on the west coast of Florida and has amazing white beaches. On our way over they told us they had room and were upgrading us to a 3-bedroom suite. We got so lucky because usually I go crazy in hotel rooms with my kids in bouncing off the walls.

Everyday they had Kids Camp for the kids in the morning while John had meetings and the wives had workouts or meetings about the lockout. Then we would head to the pool, eat dinner, and start the whole thing over again. They really catered towards the kids and even had activites for them at all of the dinners.

The only bad thing was that Aus was sick part of the time. We found out it was strep when we got home. Brock got it too...

We had adults only event one night and our sitter kept aiming at the TV not us...that's why we are laughing.

We rented a sailboat one day and explored the ocean.

Everyday it was a race to the elevator and a struggle to see who got to push the button. Austin lost here...

We went to Roys for dinner one night. I love that place!

So much fun and good quality family time but when is was all over we were ready to go home. We had been living out of our suitcases for two weeks. We realize that paradise can't last forever, nor should it. If it did, we wouldn't appreciate it.
