The Breckenridge House

We usually visit Denver every March and this year we headed up to the Breckenridge house that the Carlsons so generously let us use. It's close to the slopes so the boys went skiing two days. I went for half a day because I'm nursing to keep what little skills I have from dying.

My boys love the snow. They could spend hours building snowmen and sledding.
Check out Wes' little snowmen behind him.

Brock was super mellow the whole time. I think skiing took it out of him.

Packing for four kids was a little overwhelming and I did pretty well considering I'm losing my mind...except for swimsuits. Totally spaced those. I was thinking cold weather clothes and didn't think I would need them. The boys swam in the hot tub in their undies while John built them a huge snowman.

Baby Gracie chilling with grandpa.

The boys did p90x religiously everyday, even on the days they skied. My heart wasn't in it all the way but Kristy and I joined them for Plyos one day and then made up for it by eating truffles at night. My lungs were burning. The altitude takes a little getting used to.

Life with kids. Sometimes you've got to incorporate them in the workout so you can actually get a workout in. Here's Brett getting some extra hard core lunges in with Owen.

While we were working out on the patio, the little boys and Grandpa sledded.
Brett and Kristy celebrated their anniversary with all of us. Aren't they cute?

Grandpa dared Austin to walk to the fence and back for a dollar. He cried on the way back because his bare feet were burning!

Amber and Tyler went skiing with us Monday then came over for some chili. Over dinner they told us about this secret passage way that started in the corner of a closet and went underground around the house. Here's the hole in the closet and here's what it looks like below.

Our last night there we hid some treasure down there and the boys took their flashlights and went on a treasure hunt.

We had so much fun. Thanks you guys!
