Manrichment

Originally, a bunch of guys in our ward were planning to go to the Dolphins game last night as their "man"richment activity, but lucky for me it turned into a family affair. Their were about 30 people from our ward there. It was pouring all afternoon and I was dreading the game but luckily it let up. Heidi and her family piled in my car (4 car seats total) and we headed off to the game. I wish I could say it went as smooth as last time but it didn't. You would have thought someone poured Red Bull into Austin's water bottle because he was hyper-hypo! He is way too independent. He would just tell me he was going to get ice cream and take off. After reminding him that he didn't have money and he couldn't go alone he started flipping out. Do you know how hard it is to drag a flailing 2 year on your hip while carrying your 4 month old in a Snugli?!

The kids had a blast. These pictures were taken at 10:30 at night and they are wired! The Dolphins lost :( and I barely made it to my YW presidency meeting this morning I was so tired. Sorry for all the football pics, but my life is football!

He's in the 80th percentile...so above average for length but not off the charts. But he is getting super long! and fat :) I just love this age, it's so fun to see him turning into a little person!

I sympathize Christy! I have a very active, hyper, not listening to anything I say almost 2 year old. It's crazy, but you're amazing, I just know you did a great job! Lance told me to try to get a babysitter for the BYU game, but I have to take Rylie, so it will still be pretty hectic. You did it all by yourself though! I bet you slept great that night :)

Christy,

Austin looks like a teenager hanging out with his friends at the game. Perhaps a glimpse of what the future will be like?

Jewels really likes listening to the songs you put on your blog. We listen to them everyday. Whats the name of this song ? I love it. -susan

Gotta love a life full of football! That made me laugh out loud when I read that! how nice to have John move home again - camp is always forever! did austin ever ask why daddy never slept at home? you are very brave to take both kids to the game! just had to tell you that we all watched john's snapping video. so funny!

Hi Christy,
I saw your blog on Caryn & Cara's blogs so I hope you don't mind that I looked! I love finding people from high school and seeing their families. My family goes to Florida every year for vacation so the beach in your pictures looks so familiar to us! It is good to see you, you look exactly the same and your family is very cute. I have two crazy boys too! My blog is http://thebetheas.blogspot.com
