Tonight the Dolphins rented out a theater for the team and their families to see a sneak preview of the Rock's new movie "The Game Plan". It was a little old for Austin but he is happy anywhere when there's unlimited popcorn and candy. He kept throwing his hands up in the air and yelling "TOUCHDOWN" every time a football scene came on. They showed the movie at the Weston Muvico. For those of you not from Florida, Weston is like the Scottsdale of Arizona, the Park City of Utah...you get the drift. This movie theater has valet parking, architecture like Caesar's Palace, and babysitting in the lobby (Genius...right!). Sorry no pics! I was going to steal a picture of us in the theater and good thing I didn't because one, I would look like a total nerd and two, there were security people at the door checking for cameras since it was a sneak preview. 
We got home and watched the Miss Teen USA pageant. John was nice enough to let me watch it even when the Patriots game was on. We are pretty much competitive about everything...we like to bet on who wins. I pride myself on always being able to pick the winner ( or at least top 3 ) and I am usually right. Sure enough I picked Miss Colorado out of all the girls and she won! John said he won the bet because he got 1st and 2nd place right (Whatever!). Tonight is the last night John has to stay in the hotel for training camp and then I have my husband back. It's been a long month and I am ready for him to be home!

Hey Christie, i don't know if you remember me(Cara Penrod). We hung out a little in 9th grade. Anyways I found your blog through Caryns. That is so cool your husband grew up in Colorado. Mine grew up in Denver (Littleton). We lived there for 5 yrs when we got married. I was looking at your past posts and noticed that we were in Denver almost the same time. We even went to waterworld. We did miss out on Casa Bonita and their great food(YUCK!). It's a fun place to go though. Thats cool your husband plays in the NFL. Mine wishes he did. He was pretty good back in the day (So he says:). Right now he is trying to relive the glory days through Mesa Parks and Rec. He is good though. Anyways, good to see you(your pics anyways). Your boys are cute (I also have 2 boys a and a little girl).
Any night involving a movie theatre sounds fun to me! I totally picked Miss Colorado too! Those girls dresses were amazing, and most of them odd enough were pretty modest, good for them. Glad training camp is over and you get your hubby back- until the season starts atleast, right?
Christy, I watched the Miss Teen pageant. It was a little bit creepy that some of the girls were 16 prancing around in swimsuits. Isnt that a lttle bit kid pornish?I mean in this day and age? I guess I am protective of my daughter. Being a new mom and all, you start to think about these things. I dont remember Miss Colorado. I'm glad a brunette won for a change. Did anyone think the former Miss Teen Usa was a little bit on the trashy, partier side? Did we check to see if she is on my space? Where is class when you need it?- Susan
I love going to the movies, how fun! I so would have loved to see pictures! I didn't get to watch the pageant this year :(
