Tagged - Jog Down Memory Lane

I was tagged by fellow Mt. View Toro, Becky!!
1. Who were your friends? I was friends with everyone but I did get into a lot of trouble with Meaghan LeBlanc, Deanna Twilligear, and Lacy Chapman.
2. What sports did you play? Track
3. What kind of car did you drive? I had this turquoise beater, totally 80's pontiac sunbird convertible. We would always get sunburned driving in it. I got pulled over 4 times my senior year for either speeding or for girls sitting on the top of the back seat. No tickets though, my friends were cute.
4. On a Friday nights what were you doing? Football was huge at my high school so we always went to the game and then hit up Filbertos or Barros. If it wasn't football season we were at parties or cruisin Mill Avenue.
5. Were you a party animal? What kind of partying are we talking about? I went to a lot of parties, but actually partying...my friends did enough of that for me.
6. Were you considered a flirt? I don't think so. There was some steep competition for the "flirt" role and I don't think I was in the running.
7. Were you in band, orchestra, or choir? I have played the viola in orchestra since 4th grade.
8. Were you a nerd? I was in all the nerd classes, does that count?
9. Did you get suspended/expelled? No
10. Can you still sing the fight song? Parts of it
11. Who was your favorite teacher? My orchestra teacher, Mr. Temme. I would always make up some lame excuse that I had to go run an errand for student council and he would just kind of wave his hand and say, "do what you gotta do" and let me roam around campus!
12. Where did you sit during lunch? We had an open campus so whatever place we ate at.
13. Name of school? Mountain View High School
14. School mascot? Toro
15. School Colors? Red and Blue
16. Rival high school? All of them. They all hated us because we always took state in everything.
17. Did you go to Prom? I couldn't date until my junior year so I went junior and senior year.
18. If you could go back and do it again, would you? Yes, I think I am one of the few that loved high school. Loved college more...
19. What do you remember most about graduation? We had an all nighter after at Sunsplash and I remember being amazed that my parents actually let me go cause they were so strict.
20. Where did you go for senior skip day? We didn't really have a designated Senior Ditch Day. I ditched a lot, I couldn't handle all the freedom.
21. Favorite memory? Ooh where do I start. Okay I'll pick one. My girlfriends and I used to always steal the bags of soap from Dairy Queen and either soap the fountains or sneak into Shepard pool at night, pour the soap down the slide so we could go really fast, slide down in our skivvies a couple of times and then get chased by the police.
22. Were you in any clubs? Yeah, I can't really remember. I know I was in the French club.
23. Where did you go most often for lunch? I was always running out of gas in my car at lunch so it was usually somewhere close like Barros or Wendys.
24. Have you gained some weight since then? I didn't weigh myself in high school and I fluctuated a lot but probably yes.
25. Who was your Senior prom date? Dusty Schureman
26. Are you planning on going to your 10-year reunion? If it isn't during the football season. I really don't want to go without John (he probably wouldn't mind missing it)
27. How many fights did you get in? None.
28. Who was your high school sweetheart? Dusty
29. Do you still talk to people from high school? Yes. I have caught up with a lot since I've joined the blogging world.
30. Did you win prom queen or king? Nope. Didn't Kessa Whiting pretty much win everything?
31. Where did you work in high school? My dad's office, Name Brand Exchange, and the concession stands for baseball games
32. What were your grades? A's.
33. What was your dress style? What was the style of the clothes I left the house in or the clothes I showed up to school in? I would change clothes in my car since my parents wouldn't let me wear shorts that were above the knee or tank tops. Not that I dressed like a hooker but it was so hot in Arizona, come on. I wore whatever Wet Seal was selling. My friends and I swapped clothes all of the time. Preppy I guess.
34. What year did you graduate? 1998

I am tagging Jessie, Annie, and Becky (Reynolds).

I loved reading about you in high school! I laughed so hard about the slide and being chased by police. I can not picture that-well, maybe! Anyway, it was so fun to find out about your high school adventures!

Oh My Gosh! That totally reminded me of the "night of 7 felonies" remember...I'm not gonna put the details out there for the world, but I do have pictures, so if you wanna see them send me an email and I will scan them! That Dairy Queen is a Church's Chicken now, holy crap that was funny... Oh the fun of DeeAnna and Meaghan! And I sadly know all the words, I was in chorus, and my sis in law was on cheer and just graduated, so we were at tons of games.
