I don't know what I was thinking when I decided to take everyone to the beach today when Hurricane Noel is on its way! It looks like the hurricane is going to miss us but it is definitely still leaving its mark. We went down to Dania beach and played in the water and had lunch on the pier. The waves were huge...for Florida anyway. Not only did we have really big waves but the beach was littered with tons of Portuguese Man of War jellyfish. Yeah, I really know how to pick them don't I.
After the beach we headed to the legendary Jaxsons ice cream parlor. There ice cream is huge and I heard their secret ingredient is a little bit of gold mixed in the ice cream. Okay, maybe not. No gold???...but how do they charge so much for ice cream then! 
Austin had the bubble gum ice cream. As if ice cream could get any better. He was in HEAVEN! Jaxsons also sells all the old school candy that you can think of: Razzles, pop rocks, rock candy, candy cigarettes, candy lipstick...you name it they have it. Hmm...is that Carlisle and Edward?

Did you guys have to max out your credit card in order to pay for your ice cream??? We sure did!! I am glad you are home I can't wait to read all about your fun trip!
Next time we come to FL I will have to check out that ice cream place, it looks awesome, like Serendipity in NYC, you have to go there at least once, even if it is an arm and a leg... can't wait for London pictures1111
Wow you have a long tongue! My mom ran into Lacy Chapman the other day. I haven't seen her since high school. You guys were friends right. Anyways, that would be fun to live so close to the beach(Unless it's hurricane season). Can't wait to see your London pictures!

You gotta love Jaxson's! All of those huge portions that we Americans are famous for! You guys look that you had a great time, even with the huge waves and marine life everywhere! And I loved the Edward and Carlisle comment, just let me know if you need to borrow Eclipse!
