Halloween
Parenting can be challenging but Halloween is one of the times that all that hard work is rewarded! We took Austin into a costume store and let him pick his own costume. Once he spotted the fireman it was over. Fireman it is! Brock's skunk costume was oh so appropriate however he hated it! Okay, maybe it is a little hot for Florida but BEAUTY IS PAIN, hasn't momma taught you ANYTHING! Don't let those smiling pictures fool you. Those were taken in the small instances that he wasn't crying. We stuck his outfit on just long enough to get a few pictures. The Becks invited us and the Eseras over for pizza and to trick or treat. The Eseras just joined the Dolphins and have 4 girls, three of which are under 19 months (no twins either)! Can you imagine?
John and I usually dress up but this year we didn't. John's traumatized from last year when we showed up to the Dolphins party as the only adults dressed up. The invitiation for the party said, "Family Costume Party"! Guys are so ruthless on the team so they blew up photos of John dressed up and put them all over the locker room. The Dolphins are 0-8 and not in the partying mood so we didn't have to worry about a repeat this year because they didn't have a party. We got to trick or treat just long enough before it started raining and the babies started to fall asleep. Thanks to Austin's loot the whole family has been on a sugar high for 24 hours!

Your boys' costumes were too cute! I saw that same skunk costume when we went trick or treating and I loved it, how cute and original. The firefighter costume looks so real too. Cute pictures!
Love your "little stinker!" What a cute costume... we are all still on a sugar high! And I don't think we ever really come down until after new years!!
I saw the snunk costume a couple times and I think it is so cute. Love the family pic...btw I have a canon rebel camera but I doctor up all my pics to make them more sharp and colorful.
Christy,
I just found your blog through I think it was Caryn or someone like that from highschool. I have wondered where you went after I last saw you at my cousin Kristen and Dan's house. I love the pics. of your cute family!!!! Hey, do you ever know what happened to Stephanie who we went to Cali. with our sophmore year?
The costumes were so cute!
Your boys are too cute! I can't believe how fast they grow. Happy fall! I love the background on your blog.
christy,
Can I just say I was cracking up at your comment you left on my blog. I totally was thinking how everyone thinks we look alike when I saw your picture but how I wish I had your eyes!! And yes, the first time I met all my sister-in laws they all thought I was Kate Bosworth! Doing good, was sick for a while and never wanted to have a kid again but now I'm feeling fine! I just told my work 2 days ago - very nerve racking but not as bad as I thought. Please tell Steph hi for me. I just remembered I ran into her in the St. George temple a couple years ago. Random!
The kids looked so cute!! I loved the skunk costume!! Our sugar high is still going strong!! Don't worry I have already eaten half of Dorothy's candy!!
I love the flip flops with Austin's costume... only in Florida. Your boys are so cute. We have a skunk costume too. All the kids have been a skunk for their first Halloween.
I use picasa, it's a free program from google and I love it. Someday I want photoshop but for now this works great!!
digital scrapbooking looks like it might be really fun but I've never actually done it yet. Ryan made our header in a photo shop - I couldn't figure out how to make the software we have work with the digital scrap stuff templates and stuff. Cousin Casi helped me to figure out the html code and then I just messed around with it a little - you can probably actually read what all the code says though. My question is how do you make the margins a different background paper - I tried last week for a while but couldn't figure that one out.
Brock looks darling! I cant believe how blue his eyes are!
I love the skunk!
Love all the cute pictures of your boys! Love the cute costumes! Looks like you guys had a great Halloween!
I love the skunk costume! His face is priceless! I love your pumpkin too! So cute!
Okay, I can't even believe I am commenting since I am the 15th comment. You probably won't even see this comment but I gotta do it anyway! Austin was so cute and so was the cute skunk Brock. I am sad we missed out seeing them in person but that is what is so wonderful about the wonderful blogging world!
