First I have to say that the Dolphins had their first win today against the Ravens in OT. It felt like we won the freaking Super Bowl! So yes, we are still 1-13, but we have avoided the misery of going down in the books as the team that didn't win a single game!
The Dolphins always throw a great party. They transformed the practice "bubble" into a winter wonderland. They had crab, steak, shrimp, a gourmet hot chocolate/coffee bar, a chocolate fountain, an ice cream bar, and a candy shop with unlimited candy and custom pucker powder sticks. Every time we visited the "Candy Shop" I couldn't keep 50 cent's song from replaying in my head!
1) These tall freaks almost stepped on me while doing the electric slide. John is surprisingly not that much shorter than them. The cheerleaders all squealed in horror when John held Brock like this.
2) After asking John if I had any chocolate on my face from the chocolate fountain he replied no only to come home and see a gigantic chocolate dot on my chin. Apparently in the 6 years we've been married he had forgotten that I don't have a huge mole on my chin. It must be the foot and half difference in height that hindered his sight.
Austin spent most of the time on the merry-go-round, doing snow angels in the fake snow, dancing, and in a little gingerbread house.
Pictures of Santa to come!!!!!

Congrats on winning the super bowl! :) Thanks for the laugh about the chocolate dot on your chin. I think Aaron would do the same to me and say, "You're beautiful either way..." I'm sure no one noticed though. What a fun party!
That looks so fun, I love the super tall striped freaks!
What fun!! That is one heck of a Christmas party!!!
Ok, you guys definately live the life of superstars! Always a huge fun bash! Congrats to the team! We watched that game and it was awesome! It was funny to watch them really freaking out. What a cute, fun Christmas party! That's funny about the chocolate on your face! :)
HOLY COW! That is a party. I can see why Austin left kicking and screaming. I am happy you now have a win under your belt.
Okay, that picture of Austin dancing is the best picture ever! And I see that you did not wear the same dress as on Wednesday! You look great in red! Anyway, what an awesome (I noticed I am really using that word a lot lately) party!
What a fun party! It looks like the perfect one, with fake snow and all! Congrats on the win!
That looks like the most incredible Christmas party ever! Holy Cow! Can we come with you next year...:) Congrats on a great game and win!!!
You guys are so lucky to have such a fun party to go to! It looks like so much fun! I will have you know that I watched the ESPN highlights of the game only because it was Miami and I thought I should support John! :)
You crack me up. I am so sorry about the chocolate mole you wore around at the party. I was laughing out loud and Steve asked me what was so funny. I have to tell ya, Steve does the balancing baby trick too and people always FREAK! All of the people at his school would call Lake the balancing baby. Looks like your party was great. Wish we could see you guys here at Christmas!
My first thought was "I can't wait to go hit the clubs with Austin" then immediately "I hope my life doesn't come to that!" I guess it would make me Auntie Cougar instead of Auntie Kimi
YEAH!!!!! Happy to hear about the win. Whew. I love how chill Brock looks standing in John's hands. Yeah, s'up, it's all good. =)
sorry, that last post was me. I always forget to change accounts when I'm looking.
Congrats on your win!! Now maybe they'll relax and win a bunch more. You always go to the coolest parties! That is every kids heaven, no wonder Austin didn't want to leave. I'm so jealous of your long, beautiful hair!
P.S. I emailed the black beans recipe to you. It's from Brazil, my father-in-law went there on his mission. So yummy!
Oh, PS way later than the last comment) it was so nice of the stilts people to dress up to match your blog background! You shoulda tipped them!
Congrats on the win. We always cheer for the Dolphins just for you and it was great to see them win. Your kids are so cute. Austin gots some pretty good moves, we should get him together with Emily.
How dang fun. Yeah..Those tall people
are a bit odd. I see your point about being stepped on. I'm only 5'1 . Merry Christmas.
How fun! I heard that they won a game and I thought of you and I was so happy for you guys! I love the christmas party photos. I would be dragging my boys out of there kicking and screaming too!
I love the picture of Austin and the sucker. That looks like so much fun. Maybe our company could take a few hints from the Dolphins - I think we're having Kneaders. :)
