We had a great Memorial Day complete with a BBQ, Blongo ball, fishing, and of course wii. I have to say though that after reading my friend Tracy's blog it made me think more about the true meaning of Memorial Day and how I want to spend it next year. Although I did remember to have a moment of silence at 3 pm that was about the most I thought about it today which is SAD! Those who gave their lives for our country deserve more respect than that. Thanks for the reminder Tracy.
Apparently I gave birth to Elton John without knowing it.
Brock had a hard night hence the tear stained cheeks. So sad. I think he's teething. He was so grumpy so we sent him to bed early.

Brock is gorgeous. I love his blue eyes. He looks so big. Nice fish too...that is out of the lake by your house? You really are surrouonded by some cool wildlife. You are always having fun parties, wish I lived closer to you. Austin is the best looking Elton I have EVER seen.
You guys seem to have the funnest parties! It's nice to have great friends when you're away from family! That's quite the fish!

I thought of you when I was there!! You are the only person I 'know' (haha) that lives in Florida. I really wondered what part too. Too bad we couldn't have just 'met' even for a bit!! AAHHHHH it's so pretty there. I definately want to go back and vacate there someday. Do you like living there? We had such a great time. Key West is very interesting...we were like: umm- what the heck is this place??! it's like a nothing town almost. It's hard to be home back to real life! but no choice- got to suck it up and not think about it!! thanks for checking in. what a fun memorial weekend. your messy hair is still beautiful!!

no walking for our little guy yet. rick thinks the pictures we had taken today are deceptive because they make him look like he walks, but really, he has very little desire. he buckles his knees and would much rather crawl. as for life jackets, we got it a couple of years ago for ty at an after-summer sale. i am pretty sure it was at target and we have loved it.
sounds fun but what is blongo ball? love brock and the flag...hope he starts feeling better. teething is no fun.
looks like you have a fun group of friends. i love bbq's cause the guys always grill.
