Friday we headed down to South Beach for the Dolphin's annual fishing tournament. The weather was pretty bad Friday but we made the most of it at the beach and the hotel pool. How do you make Brock as happy as possible? Save him some work and cover him in sand so he can eat it!
We left the kids with the sitter and went to the Captain's Party and then to Prime 112 with Brandon and Katie. I love this place. Although it takes forever to get in, they have a stuffed lobster dish that I'm still dreaming about and I'n not even a huge lobster fan. It felt like the less clothes someone had on the quicker they were seated which left us not getting sat until 11:00 pm.
The tournament started at the crack of dawn and John was lucky enough to be on one of the boats that sponsored the event, Stiles. They were on the boat for 9 hours and caught 5 fish. Still a cool experience but not much excitement for such a long day. Here's Katie reeling in a fish.

I've heard stories about South Beach but every time I've been there it was very G-rated. But yesterday the weather was so nice that everyone felt like they needed to take off their clothes!!! In the past I've seen a couple of thongs but never so many topless girls. I don't get how people feel so comfortable showing their goods to the world and who would want to risk getting their naughty parts burned.

I was a little surprised when we went to South Beach, I saw no naked nothins! Good thing I am going to Europe, I am sure I won't be so lucky...
sounds like a fun fishing trip....seems like you guys get lots of fun adventures involving the beach, sand and good restaurants! guess that's why everyone loves florida!

I will have to make it to south beach someday while I live here. I can totally see myself moving never having gone there. Ryan and I totally want to go to Prime 112 sometime, it sounds yummy!

I am really sad I didn't get to see any boobies when I was there. Wasn't that on the agenda? So have you had any luck finding out how to lose 10 pounds before powell? I am really trying hard with no success, so if you found the secret let me know. I am so excited I can hardly stand it!!!!
You always get to do the coolest things Christy! That stinks about the nudity - I hate that. If it is in a movie or anything it puts me in the worst mood! When are you going to Lake Powell? We are probably going with our whole family mid-June, the 19th I think.
