Almost anywhere I go I run into someone from high school whether it be all the way out here in Florida, Mexico, or California. You name it...Toros are everywhere. My mother-in-law always jokes when I run into someone, "Let me guess...you went to high school with them." Most of the time she's right. Mountain View high school is a school that dominates in sports and academics and is known to be the breeding ground for success. It definitely has a legacy that I was happy to be a part of.
My 10 year reunion is this weekend and I will not be going since John is in the middle of minicamp and I don't really want to brave the trip home alone. I'm definitely glad that high school is over but I do have fond memories of the crazy times. Lunch at Barros, midnight runs to Filibertos, sneaking cars out, Freakfest, and Rockin' Rodeo. It doesn't help that John Beck is out here and we always seem to reminisce about some funny story about high school which I'm sure drives our spouses NUTS! I don't really know that person that graduated 10 years. I'd like to think that I'm wiser, more mature, and hopefully have less bushy eyebrows than I did back then.
Here's to memories...

Happy 10 year reunion. We didn't go to ours etiher, we were out of town. You look the same, still young and beautiful. Cheers to you and 10 years. I totally think you are wise, and mature...but you still know how to have FUN!
Isn't it crazy how you run into people everywhere. When we lived in CO my husband was playing on a softball team with some guys from church. At their first game I was looking down the roster & I saw this guys name. I totally went to prom with him. It was so funny.
Wish you could come! We will miss you!!! And you are right, Toros are EvErYwHerE!
