Since we were kids my brother Lance has always been a dreamer. He was always inventing something or searching for treasure. He even hid my mom's wedding ring in a hole somewhere in our backyard in Tucson, AZ. That ring is still somewhere in the dusty ground since the map he mad as a young kid wasn't exactly on point.
A couple of years ago Lance told the family that he was headed off on a trip to the Philippines and Austria in search of buried treasure that two World War Veterans had told him they had hid over 60 years ago. A documentary a was made about his journey and it's in the L.A. film festival called "Loot". I was glad to see this since I've heard many stories about the trip and now Lance has proof that he wasn't actually on the beaches of Hawaii getting a tan when all this took place. Here's a link to the trailer:

P.S. I think your next treasure hunt should be to find mom's ring.

W-O-W. That looks really good! Will it come out on video? I love your brothers face when the guy told him he shot a man. lol
How interesting.... I can not wait to tell my grandparents to check this out because my grandma(8yrs old) was living in the Philippines and was taken prisoner into Japanese prison camp and while hiding in the jungle her dad burried all of their money and valuables and 3 yrs later were set free. Her dad later dug up some of these 50 gallon drums he burried..... I will have to get the scoop on it all.cool
My Easton is determined to be a pirate when he grows up; I guess Lance is living the dream!
Hi Christy, I don't even know if you would remember us but I was looking at some of the blogs of people I remember from Utah and I saw this post. I immediately showed my husband (David) because he has always wanted to go treasure hunting. He always recording shows on the Tivo. He was wondering if your brother had a blog or a website where he talks about his adventures.
Your family is cute and your boys are adorable. I'm glad to see you guys are doing well. Cindy
We do have to keep in touch. We are in California now. David and I are both from here. David has his own construction company here so I guess we are here to stay for awhile at least. I've never been to Florida but it looks like it would be a fun place to live. (except the alligators!!):) I know in basketball there are a lot of trades so you get relocated. Does that happen in football a lot too? I think it would be fun to experience living in different parts of the country.
