Austin's first day of preschool...

Sorry for the lack of blogging. I have felt totally uninspired lately. John's been in training camp which means that we have had lots of play dates, swimming, and I think we've hit every play place at every fast food joint within a 10 mile radius. Barb and Heidi have been in on the quest to entertain our kids. I couldn't make it through without them.

I love Austin. Those of you who know him know that Austin is very, very active. He has sooooo much energy that I spend my days trying as hard as I can to exhaust that energy. I feel like I'm always humming "Let me entertain you..." from Gypsy in my head. So when preschool started I was not one of those moms who cried. Oh no, I had my day planned out of what I was going to do while he was gone. He's been waiting for this day FOREVER. I have been waiting for this day FOREVER. A healthy break makes me appreciate his vibrant personality. Also, it was good for me to spend one on one time with Brocky. But I could tell Brock missed him. He kept looking around for him.

He was so excited about his Cars lunchbox (No backpacks allowed).

What a cutie...I can't believe school started already for him! We don't go back until September 9th and Rick lives at the hospital (literally...) and I too sing "How will I entertain you..." a lot. Love this little boy energy we have!

P.S I did in fact get the gift you sent me a really long time ago and between life, vacations, life, etc...I have yet to acknowledge it. Thanks! Love it! Will pass along soon...

Wow...that's fun. I can't believe he's in preschool already...Mitchell doesn't start until September either. Hopefully you can enjoy some alone time with Brock and get some stuff done??? That's what I'm hoping for too!!

What a cute boy! And how great for you to have a small break. It will be good for him, and you. I know how you feel about entertaining kiddos - summer is rough!

Okay first I can't believe how much he looks like John! Second, I can't believe how old he's getting! Already starting pre-school? And third, I sure wish I had skin like that kid! He is so tan!

oh my goodness, he is such a cutie. Just like his mom! By the way, thanks for your comment but I wish I looked half as good as you. I still try and run but I actually have a great group of neighbor friends/mommies that motivate me to walk 6 miles every morning. It is the only way I stay sane and helps with my pregnancy bootie.

I can't believe that he started school. Our boys are getting so big. Can someone please stop this? What a big boy. I bet you were so proud of him.

I think every mom deserves a break! He looks great for his first day! The jeans I was wearing are TAG. You can order them online. So comfy!

He is SOOOO cute! What a handsome boy. We are looking forward to school starting here, (I'm running out of entertainment ideas) but we don't start for another 2 weeks. We'll be looking for John this season on the TV!!

How handsome he looks on his first day of school:) I remember when Dayten started pre-school so excited and so eager to finally be a "BIG KID".. lol...I cried and he jumped for joy. I was really happy for him and as you needed the break but it's realizing that they are on the road to never being little kiddos again that makes ya cry:( I can't believe it was 6 years ago, where does time go? Now I'm kicking the kids out the door and it's only tears of "Yee Haw" 1 more down and too many to go..lol..lol!!! Have fun and remember to enjoy and capture every moment:)
