Banned

John has the hair cutting duties in our family...for a reason. I wish I could say that Brock did this to himself or that Austin was the culprit, but for once he wasn't.

It seems that at 5:45 AM I don't think all that clearly ( dang Daylight savings ). I was looking at Brock's hair with my tired eyes and saw a couple of long wispies that needed a little snip. Right as I went to cut he lurched forward.

Looks like we'll be sporting these for a while.

John has banned me from all hair cutting. FOREVER. He has hidden all the scissors in the house from me like I am a five year old on a sugar high. It's probably a good thing because I really think if I had one more chance I could fix it. It took Brock 18 months to finally grow hair so maybe he'll have his crop back by the time he turns 3.

Ha Ha Ha! Love it! I only cut my kids hair ONE time and that was enough. Good thing it grows out.

The only time I cut hair is with the clippers, And then I just buzz it all off.

HAHAHAHA! Well you can always BLAME Brock eventhough he didn't do it. I'm pretty sure that's what my mom would have done :)

The Down East dresses and skirts do run big. You have to be careful though because the dresses in a smaller size but with a high waist seem cut into the boob room. Does that make sense? You don't want to walk around with a sash across your boobs.

HAHAHAHA!!!! Cade cuts the hair in our fam too. I am afraid that my kids would have the same fate if I did it.

Christy! I'm sorry I didn't post the recipe, I am not blogspot savvy and don't know how to put links in my post. But go to http://pleasantandplump.blogspot.com/ and it is the pumpkin surprise recipe. If I can do it, you definitely can!

That's hilarious. I only use the clippers on Mitchell. I'm too nervous to start with the scissors because yep...he moves around a ton! Consider it a blessing that John's in charge! :)

Hey girl, can I just say that you crack me up in your posts! I'm so happy that you found my blog! Your family is darling and your boys have the biggest eyes I've ever seen. They are so cute! I think you did a great job cutting your boys hair!

oh No! Hats are such a great option! I'm with you on daylight savings! I hate it!! I'm way too tired!

OK, that is hilarious! I know not to touch my girls hair because it would totally turn out the same way...and it's a lot more noticable when girls go sporting a hat everywhere! I know how it feels to go through tough times. I had a miscarriage a few months ago and it's hard when you can't get pregnant when you want to be.

So funny I too have been banned from these duties in our house. I am glad Madon is not the only one taking time to grow hair. That was a good giggle for me Thanks

That is so funny! I went to hair school so I am the only one around here that cuts hair! Michael would just buzz the boys, so he doesn't get to even get close to their heads! Thank goodness he is so dang cute, no one will even notice!

You're brave. I don't even attempt to trim my girls hair. I do cute Jason's hair but only with clippers. No scissors for me!
