That's right, you guessed it. I'm pregnant!
Right after I wrote my post about not being pregnant, I got pregnant. Ironic to say the least.
I'm in my 13th week and am due right when John enters a hotel for a month for training camp so not exactly great timing but we are just so happy to be pregnant. We have already had 3 ultrasounds and the baby looks great and very active.
So far I:
- Hate chocolate: I had to make chocolate treats for church and had to taste them to make sure they were at least edible and I about vomited. On the bright side, I figure I saved myself from gaining a good 10lbs during the holidays.
- Have Super Smelling Senses: I can smell things downstairs when I am upstairs.
- Love Fruit: Those of you who know me, know this is definitely a change. I have fruit issues from when I was younger. With 10 kids there were always squished grapes on the floor or an old banana roasting in the car. Now, I eat oranges, pears, and green apples all day long.
- Have extremely specific cravings: With the other kids I always craved salty things but with this baby I crave something different everyday. Tasty Turkey sandwiches from Einsteins, deviled eggs, lettuce wraps from Pei Wei, you name it. Once I've satisfied the craving that same food makes me want to gag.
I'm due the end of July so just look for this next to the pool. For any of you who saw me pregnant with Brock, I'll be lucky if I am this small.

Yay Christy! I am so happy for you guys. I love that picture! You will not even look like that, what with your fruit craving and you being a running machine! I might look like soon and I am not even pregnant!

Wow! Congrats my dear! I too can't stand chocolate or sweets when I'm prego. That's such a great picture to aim for there. :)

I knew it. I have been thinking about asking for the last month or so, but didn't want to invade in your privacy. I am so excited for you. I completely understand the sense of smell. It started when I was pregnant with Aydan and has never gone away, it sucks sometimes. That woman in the bikini had to be pregnant with triplets or something. CRAZY!
Yay!! We are so excited for you guys. So getting pregnant is the cure to kicking my chocolate addiction and craving fruit all of the time??? Good to know:) Congratulations again!

Congratulations!!! Your kids are soo cute. My guess is a girl... But I am always wrong:) I am 21 weeks pregnant!! Our babies will be close in age.
Christy Congrats! So is posting a blog entry about the trials of getting pregnant the trick?!?! We've just about tried everything else, but a blog post. We are going on 2.5 years if you can even handle that!!! Congrats! Glad to hear the baby is healthy!

That is so fantastic! Way to go! Oh the first part of pregnancy is so rough, although so is the last! Good luck and I hope you have a great pregnancy! Keep us updated. I will be anxious to see if you are going to get a girl this time. You guys are like us but opposite:) Someday our little families will have to meet!. I am way excited for you!
