Thanks for all your prayers and texts. My dad's surgery went well. They removed half his prostate. I asked him how he liked his first time in the hospital and said the food was really good! He was also amazed at how fast the "happy medicine" kicked in before surgery. Since I hate doing posts without pictures here are a couple of my boys keeping busy!

Do kids love anything more than water?? I was pessimistic at first about this hot weather...but the last couple of days of it being 85 I've seemed to turn somewhat thrilled and anxious for summer! And those pictures give every reason why.
What great news about your dad. I love how you describe this time as another 'round in the rink'. I've never thought of our off and on trials in that way. SO TRUE. Sounds like your dad has been pretty darn healthy his whole life. What a blessing to live such a healthy life these days isn't it? I mean..REEALLY. Keep us updated. Hope your family is hangin in there.

Christy, I totally forgot today at church to ask you about your dad. I am so happy to hear his surgery went well. We are praying for you and your dad and your whole family. Thanks for the update!
BTW, Austin was adorable in singing time again today. That kid is a total extrovert and I love him!
