...is as John would say,"like camping in my mouth. Hot and moist." It was definitely an adventure camping this weekend with the Clarks. It was a pretty civilized campsite with accessible bathrooms for the 2 pregnant women but not even Smores could make up for the sweltering heat.
The kids actually did great although Brock wasn't feeling well and fell asleep on my chest early in the night. 
The adults stayed up until 1AM talking around the fire. We finally fell asleep in puddles of our own sweat and woke up in the middle of the night to rain, wind gusts, and some raccoons running around. 
The worst part for me was getting eaten alive by bugs. I don't know if it's because I am on Lovenox (blood thinner) but the bugs loved me even though I had bug spray on. Maybe because it's easier to chug thinner blood like it's easier to chug water than a milkshake. I started getting huge welts all over my body. This was the beginning of one on my foot. My hand was so swollen in the morning it looked like it was broken and I could barely walk because my feet were so swollen from the bites. Two days later I am still swollen.
So even though I do love camping, this was probably my first and last time camping in Florida...at least in the summer. I felt like I had been hit by a truck the next day. Lucky for us it was our turn to clean the church as soon as we got home from camping. F-U-N!

You would never catch us doing that. You guys are CRAZY. I can't even imagine a fire in Hot, Humid Florida in the summer.

love how austin has TWO hot dogs on a stick! cant imagine camping in the heat....the tent would be like a sweat box!
I can't believe how swollen your foot is from the bite!! Still looks like fun....hopefully we do some camping this summer too! Wouldn't a Denney family campout be fun some day? :)
HAHAHAHAH, "camping in my mouth". I was so grateful that you cranked the AC when we were in Florida at your house. I thought I would DIE when we got to the Miami airport and walked outside. I have no idea how you did it pregnant. NO IDEA. Looks like you had fun anyway!

I can't believe how your foot swelled from a bite. Crazy! I couldn't do it in the heat like that. I HATE being hot. But I love Austins with his 2 dogs! You are a trooper to camp in the heat, humidity and preggers.
Oh you are one brave girl. Pregnant,getting eaten alive,and FLORIDA. The kiddos look like they enjoyed it. Your poor skin. Is it better? Mosquitoes love me too. It doesn't matter what I do. Poor girl.
