Hmmm...not really sure how to follow that post. The funny thing is that I started to write it and all I said was, "Brock pooped in our Christmas tree box. Potty training is awesome."
I asked John if he wanted to add anything and next thing you know we had a page long post on poop. John definitely is thorough. Even if it's thoroughly describing poop incidents. It's amazing how little a potty talk brought the men (usually silent, closet readers) out of hiding to comment on his post.
By the way, what was I thinking trying to potty train in the month of December. You have to commit to staying home a couple days to potty training and let's face it that just isn't going to happen in the chaotic running around of Christmas. So as of now we have postponed potty training until we run out of diapers...which is soon...too soon. Probably before Christmas. Does anyone's Christmas Elf want to leave me some diapers so I don't have to break my promise of not buying more diapers.
Birthdays growing up were a big deal for our family. I've tried to carry on the tradition in my own little family but this year I was too tired and "pooped" to make it a big sha-bang. John had an away game in Jacksonville on his birthday but actually made it home by 7:30 for cake. Orange-Juice lemon cake (a cake he grew up with) was his choice this year. John bought some power tools a while ago and said that was his birthday present so the only gifts he got were the one's family had mailed.
So a big fat Wah, wah, waaaaah birthday to John...love you.

The running out of diaper thing is exactly what my parents did with my older brother and it worked like a charm! Except they didn't mean to... they just ran out in the middle of the night so she told him 'no more diapers... you have to go in the potty now'... and TADA! GOOD LUCK!

You are too cute for words. I love reading about your family adventures. It seems that your life has gotten a bit more adventurous now that you have THREE LITTLE BOYS! I'm excited for all of the stories to come. Oh boy!
