SuperBowl Festivities

SuperBowl week is over and I had fun but I am exhausted. The SuperBowl was in Miami this year so all week there were charity events, golf tournaments, parties, and horrendous traffic with everyone in town. John's brother Ryan came to party with us week(more pics later). I didn't have my camera for all the events but here are a couple of pics from our week:
 

The NFLPA party was really nice and was held on the 15th floor of a nice hotel in Miami so that's why it was so windy.

Our main goal was to check out the gifting suite which had all kinds of stuff from wii games, makeup, shoes, etc. Here are the boys showing off the watches they scored to the photographer.

So then we headed to the Florida Athlete's Ball at Jungle Island that we were excited about. The invitation said Ludacris would be there and that there was a Louis Vuitton Luxury Vault gifting experience. Oh and Brazilian dancers were supposed to perform which I'm sure is why the guys wanted to go. 

But when we got there...no Louis Vuitton, no Luda', no dancers, ...no party goers.

As you can see below it was hopping. John Beck on the dance floor. Can you hear the crickets chirping?

Later that week we went to Jason Taylor's event at the IMPROV. They had Chalk Talk first with Lawrence Taylor, Jason Taylor, Ralphie May, and Kirk Herbstreit. Then Ralphie May did his comedy act. They sat us in the very front row right underneath him. We were afraid we were going to get heckled but luckily he picked on the people next to us. I was a little afraid that it would be crude but I figured that since it was for JT's foundation for kids I was safe (especially since some of the kids were in the audience). Um...no. I was terribly, terribly wrong. The first half was fine, the second half was well...we probably should have left.
