Monthly Minion Moments

My friend Kaela asked me if I document the funny things that my kids do and although I try to include some in my posts, I feel now that I'm private I can do that more often...hopefully monthly. When I'm watching the movie Despicable Me I feel like I am watching my kids. The minions, with their maniacal laughs and mischievous behavior are my children in cartoon form. Just watch the movie and you will feel like you've spent an afternoon in our house.

I've started calling them the minions and they every once in a while start chanting "we are the minions, we are the minions!"

Don't let the church clothes fool you. These boys aren't so innocent.

Wes said his first sentence. I don't know how he jumped from saying "mommy" and "daddy" to sentences but he did. As you know, Wes loves to eat. He didn't earn his name Hungry Hungry Wes without reason. While we were in Colorado he pulled up a chair to the kitchen table and said, "I-want-to-eat". I thought wow, that was coincidental. But then as we were boarding the airplane he saw some people with McDonald's and pointed and said, "I-want-to-eat".

That's where it started. Now he says it 40 times a day...I-want-to-eat, I-want-to-eat, I-want-to-eat, I-want-to-eat, I-want-to-eat, I-want-to-eat, I-want-to-eat, I-want-to-eat.

He's not crying wolf. He legitimately wants to eat 40 times a day.

Love your little minions. And hungry hungry Wes is pretty dang cute. Owen still hasn't said mommy. Just dog.

My friend has a blog dedicated to writing down the funny/cute things her kids do and say. I think it's such s great idea.

It must be a 3rd child thing. Gray is the same way...he eats anything and everything. He is constantly in the pantry pulling things of the shelf demanding to eat them. I wish you were closer. I would love to have a mommy with 3 little boys the same ages as mine to play with. THey are Adorable.

Such handsome boys! I love how in every picture Austin does the wide-eyed grin. Such a cute nickname for Wes - feed that boy! :)
