John and Grace share the same birthday, December 13th, but since I was going to be a little tied up on his birthday in the hospital and didn't want to haul gifts over there, we celebrated the night before. We went out to Olive Garden and then made it home for Oreo ice cream, John's birthday cake request every year. At first I was reluctant for them both to have the same birthday, but it ended up being the only day the doctor could do the c-section. Now, I think it's pretty cool that they will have their birthdays to share with one another.
