We started off Easter with an Easter Basket hunt?? Okay, maybe only my side of the family had that tradition of hiding the Easter baskets in the backyard. You were lucky if you could find it before the hot Arizona sun melted all your chocolate. The Clarks are pretty much our family out here so we had them over for Easter dinner. Thanks guys...we are so grateful we have you! I love all the "fluff" of the Easter festivities but I have a new perspective on what is really important this year. This Easter I have been especially grateful for the atonement and for our families. We love you.
The egg hunt begins. When my mom was visiting she would play in the backyard with Austin and they would let their imagination go wild. Austin is obsessed with Peter Pan so they designated certain parts of the yard as "the lost boys" or "the Indians". After some hints about the lost boys Austin found this dollar egg there.

TODAY(the day after Easter):
Since I ate my weight in Easter candy this weekend, today I have sworn off all Easter candy to which I 2 minutes later disobeyed myself had a Robin Egg. I forgave myself again after I had another Robin Egg a minute later.

You got such great photos! Your boys are just the cutest things. We had such a great time and I seriously think I gained like 5 pounds over dinner. I keep telling Ryan how good the food was!!
Happy Easter!! I love the idea of hiding the baskets!!! It was really fun to see you guys!!
I was going to hide the baskets ouside or do an egg hunt, but my backyard isn't landscaped yet. maybe next year. At least we don't have alligators back there though. That really freaks me out.
I'm still stuck on the alligators! How were you sure there wasn't one lurking in the shrubs waiting to eat one of your kids when they were easter egg hunting?!
It looks so nice at your house. Nice bright green grass & cute tan little boys.
Alligators? AWWW scary.
We are glad your easter was fun, we miss you.
Decorating my house has been crazy. I picked a bold color for the walls, which I like, but my vision of it has not quite come together yet. Right now I'm looking for throw pillows for our new couch, curtains, & whatever else I can find. All while painting Kyle room orange (go broncos! J/K). I think that I am doing to many things at once.
i love all the bright colors! your boys look so cute. i hid my girls baskets outside too. that's how it should be right?
don't worry-i had a pound of see's chocolate as an easter present to myself...so no guilt about a few innocent eggs!
What a fun day. Your kiddos are SO dang cute.
Happy Easter! We're in Colorado right now, and I totally thought of you two on our flight here! I love the pictures, and I'm so glad you had a great Easter. Love the boys outfits! They are for sure lookers!
You're too funny! Easter is so fun, and it looks like nice weather for you there!
What a fun easter! You got some great pictures! I think our kids would have a blast together, mu Austin loves peter pan too! He carries around this little Wendy doll in his pocket everywhere we go! He had a sword fight with captin hook at disney world and still talks about it everyday! I love that you hide the baskets...that is what Michael's family does too! Your backyard looks beautiful!
The boys look so cute in their pastel Easter outfits, they look so tan and handsome. Must be perks of living Florida lives! I love your tradition of hiding the Easter baskets! If we ever live somewhere warm, I am totally adopting that one! I am glad you all had a wonderful Easter, spring is such a great time of year!
Happy Easter! It looks so nice and warm in Florida!
