Ummm...Mom, there's an egg in my Koolaid

Tonight we had the Clarks over to dye Easter eggs. We ordered Pei Wei and watched some of the basketball game before playing guitar hero. We had fun although the kids were more interested in riding the jeep in the backyard. Austin loved cruisin' in his ride with the ladies (Mckenna and Ashlyn). I love Ashlyn's face! Our neighbors have warned me about the alligators in our backyard which isn't a surprise since you can be assured that any body of water in Florida is bound to have alligators in it. What was news to me is that they told me that the alligators croak like frogs at night to lure their pray. So tonight Heidi and I were in the backyard listening and sure enough we heard a croak that sounded like it came from a frog on steroids. It was close too! It definitely was an alligator and now I am officially freaked out!

That is crazy about the alligators! You have to take a picture of one for me when you see one! Scary, but so cool! Love guitar hero!

Those pictures of Austin are so cute! And thanks for having us over, we had a great time. McKenna keeps talking about the jeep. And obviously it was the best thing that ever happened to Ashlyn! I loved that Austin was putting his arm around them like they were on a date. He is a ladies man already!

I remember the alligators . My grandparents live there (Lady Lake)and in their pool in the back yard was a baby gator. SCARY ! How cute of Austin "crusin" with the lady's.

Hi Kristy- I'm Sharee's cousin Mandee. Thanks for the blog layout advice, it really helped. You have a darling family & I love your blog. I check in on you guys occasionally & thought maybe it would be less creepy if I left you a comment! Take care.

Eeek! I don't like alligators! Glad to see you have a very strong-looking fence between the house and the water! No gators getting through that! :)

The pictures from Brett's wedding are super cute. She is adorable (must be in the name, right?). I was amazed at the concentration of alligators in FL and don't envy that you have them for neighbors!

Yikes! And I was scared living by coyotes, & rattle snakes! At least you have a back fence. Hopefully the alligators can't get through it.
