We are pregnant with #4! I'm due on John's birthday (December 13th) and am 13 weeks along. We calculated to try to have a baby not during football season, hopefully January, but...our calculations were a little off. Oh well! What do you do? I'm always just grateful that I am able to get pregnant since we tried for years with Austin. I started the Lovenox shots for blood clotting and while that's no fun at all, it's a small price to pay for a baby.
We are so excited and I have been more sick this time but I think I'm finally over the hump. Thank goodness because John's getting a little tired of me gagging at everything he eats. Although I gag at his oysters even when I'm not pregnant. When I was sick I would get in panic mode and have to try a little of everything to see what wouldn't make my stomach turn. One night we bought Pei Wei, McDonald's and Panera for things I thought I wanted. Finally, I found some broccoli cheese soup at Panera that hit the spot.
Austin wants it to be a girl because they clean a lot and Brock wants a boy. Wes has no idea what's going on and is just happy as long as he doesn't have any competition for otterpops.
I was at the perinatal specialist today for 3 hours drawing blood, talking to consultants about my blood clotting genes, and we had an ultrasound. The baby was sucking it's thumb and doing somersaults. Turns out they also saw 3 fibroids in there. Not a big deal but they do tend to get bigger with pregnancy as they grow off estrogen. Right now they are the size of limes.
We are so excited!

CONGRATS!! I knew it. I just had the feeling. I was so sick with #4 too...starting at 5 weeks YUCK. I hope Aus gets his wish for all of you. BUt 4 boys are so WONDERFUL and fun too. We love you. I wish you the best. Can't wait to talk to you. Have fun in powell this week.

Congrats!!! I am glad you are starting to feel better! That little baby will sure be loved by those boys! My mom had fibroids and ended up with a hysterectomy in her mid 30's... I am glad they found out now and hopefully can do something!
